Crafted with Care: The Livelihood Market

The Alliance Development Trust (ADT) hosted ‘Crafted with Care’ – the community
market, showcasing the incredible talents of its hardworking livelihood beneficiaries
from communities across the regions.
The sale of handcrafted items was on sale from February 15th – 19th and on the 26th as well. The products on sale included Palmyra products, hand-woven carpets, packeted spices and food items and tailored dresses.
All the items on sale were produced by individuals affected by leprosy and women-led
households. The ADT through its livelihood sector empowered them with economic
opportunities promoting self-sufficiency.
