Avurudu Celebrations for Special Needs Children

The Alliance Development Trust's (ADT) Children's Sector conducted a special event for Avurudu (the Sinhala &Tamil New Year) with 53 special needs children at the Kolonnawa

Divisional Secretariat on the 30th of April 2025.

The children, all from the Kolonnawa area, spent the whole day joyfully engaging in singing

and dancing, bringing all those in attendance great joy, fun and laughter. The children received gifts and refreshments; the event was organised with the support of the Child Development Officer, Ms. Thamara, and Mr. Paranamana, the Assistant Divisional Secretary.
