 In order to encourage the
protection of water sources, ADT introduced retrofitting of open, hand-dug
wells. This involves covering and sealing the mouth of the well and
installing low cost, locally designed and produced PVC hand pumps.
A total of 11 wells have been completed, benefitting 7,496
people in Town and Gravets and Kuchchavely.
