Providing safe water without proper
knowledge about health improvement, and sanitation and hygiene is inefficient,
as such, hygiene education seminars are conducted throughout the region, in
communities, community centers and schools. The seminars cover four basic
areas: solid waste, sanitation, safe water and hygiene.
181 people have attended seminars
in Town and Gravets and Kuchchavely, however, due to the continuing ethnic
conflict, ADT has been unable to continue its work in the region.
With the permission of the
Department of Education, 15 seminars were held 15 schools. More than 3,000
students from Grades 2 to 7 participated. The students were given workbooks and
drawing books as aides.
