Victoria Louise Stamadianou - Volunteer is from Greece and is in the process of completing her Masters in International Development. She studied in Manchester University's Institute for Development Policy and Management and is particularly interested in the following areas: poverty, conflict and reconstruction.  

During her internship with Alliance Development Trust she has the responsibility of writing up a report that will outline the various development approaches and will suggest an appropriate guiding framework that will integrate the sectors which Alliance Development Trust focuses on. She finds the work creative and challenging and the work environment supportive. The experience, she says, has been rewarding as she has had the opportunity to be further educated on the complex links between conflict and development in a war-torn country where they have been made more apparent to her. Victoria hopes that in the future she will utilise the experience she is gaining to improve her contribution in the field of development.test
