Ramya Lalitha Wickramasinghe

Ramya Lalitha Wickramasinghe, a mother of two, is a resident of Kalegana Galle, and is a member of the Church of Christ in Galle. Lalitha is a wood carver by profession and is a recipient of a microfinance loan amounting to Rs. 20,000/-. ADT gave her a loan to help improve her livelihood and to help her make ends meet in her personal and family life.

“The financial help that I have received from ADT has helped me improve my handicraft work” says Lalitha with a new found confidence. “I have been able to supply my crafts to Laksala (the Government Handicraft Emporium) and I have also been able to improve on the quality of my crafts.  With my earnings I have settled some of the outstanding debts and I spent the balance money on the education of my children and on other family expenditures”, said Lalitha. “My family and I are very grateful to ADT. Thank you very much for helping us”.
