Waiman, a father of 3 children, contracted Leprosy 8 years ago. Even though his children have disowned him, his wife visits him & is willing to take care of him. ADT provided Waiman with a loan with which he makes small envelopes to hold medicinal pills. His other inmates also help him, whilst his Doctor helps him to market these envelopes. Through this venture he earns more than LKR 1,500 per month. Waiman is happy because he has the opportunity to do useful work in the hospital. He thanked ADT for having provided this opportunity.
