Vithana

Vithana hails from the southern province of Galle. She lost her right hand in an unfortunate accident. She has three children who are schooling and her husband has no permanent job. With the loan she obtained from ADT she now runs a shop which sells ready made garments. Vithana’s husband purchases garments in bulk and they sell these garments in a small shop rented out by them. She currently earns a profit of LKR 5,000 – 8,000 and through increased sales she is hopeful of enhancing her income to LKR 9,000 – 13,000 in the near future.
