Seetha Malani

Seetha was just 5 years old when she got leprosy. She hardly recalls her childhood and does not know how she ended up at the hospital. As her family has abandoned her the hospital has become her home. With the assistance of ADT Seetha started making small envelopes which are sold to pharmacies & medical centers. The hospital doctor who has many contacts with pharmacies etc helps her market her envelopes. With her monthly income of LKR 1000 – 1500 she is able to meet her needs. Her venture has made her a confident person & now she encourages the other inmates as well.
