Heen Banda is a resident of Kurunegala. A father of three, he suddenly contacted leprosy and was admitted to the leprosy hospital. Within two years of medication he was completely healed. However, now his family is not too keen to have him back. ADT helped Heen Banda start a coir products business. This venture earns him LKR 6000 per month. He has involved other hospital inmates to help him in this business as well whilst the hospital doctor helps him distribute and market his products. Currently he earns LKR 6000 per month.
