Ajantha, a resident from Hendala is unmarried and lived with her 2 sisters before she got infected with leprosy. At first she didn’t take any notice of her illness which later started to spread.  Now she is fully cured but her sisters’ husbands do no want her in their home. ADT helped Ajantha start a livelihood with hand knitted products. Now Ajantha earns about LKR 1500/- per month. She is thankful to ADT for providing her with a loan to commence a livelihood.
