Livelihood Objectives The main objective behind this programme is to up lift vulnerable persons and families by providing financial and non-financial assistance to empower them to stabilize and improve in their day to day lives and businesses. Another objective is to facilitate networking and form CBO’s (Community base Organizations) to consolidate grass-root ownership and control the process and the systems. The Livelihood programme also gives assistants to people who have suffer from Impersonal emergencies such as floods, cyclone, fire and any other natural disaster. It also provides for those who suffer from personnel emergencies such as accidents, illnesses, desertion and divorce. Providing financial assistance and Life style opportunities require large sums of money. One needs to offer stable and ongoing financial assistance in order to provide them with land, housing, Consumer durables in order to start up or to expand a business.
Livelihood Recovery and Sustainable Development – Projects Training seminars, community projects, career guidance projects are being held for the continuous development of livelihood beneficiaries and continuous help is given through the Micro finance sector by providing loans and giving adequate training on budgeting.
