HIV & AIDS Awareness Programme in Anuradhapura Army Camp

150 Army trainees attended a HIV & AIDS awareness program at the 3rd Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps in Nelumkullam, Anuradhapura on 20th April, 2010. The participants had a good knowledge of HIV & ADS. The awareness programme helped them to further improve their knowledge on this subject. Once these Army medical trainees complete their course of study at the Anuradhapura camp they will be sent to Army regiments in various parts of the island. At these camps they would have the opportunity to share their knowledge of HIV & AIDS with other primary level soldiers, thereby helping to reduce the risk of contacting the disease.
