C. Sivakaran

“My name is Sivakaran. I have not been able to see very clearly for the past three years. I couldn’t get a pair of spectacles as My father is a labourer and he doesn’t earn enough money. My eye sight used to get very bad in the evenings and everything gets blurred. But now I am very happy because ADT has helped me. I want to thank everyone” .

Sivakaran is a 13 year old boy currently studying at the Nilaveli Maha Vidyalayam. An eye assessment that was conducted by the Sri Lanka Red Cross, highlighted Sivakaran’s bad eye sight.  ADT children’s staff at the Nilaveli welfare center helped Sivakaran receive this free eye test and a free pair of spectacles.

Sivakaran was very happy and thanked all who helped him because now with improved eye sight he has a hope for his future.
